Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic HR Manager to join our client’s team in João Pessoa. The successful candidate will play a key role in partnering with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices, fostering a culture of excellence and driving organisational success.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for monthly KPIs and People Analytics specific to the location.
  • Proactively support strategic and tactical People team initiatives and services.
  • Act as the single point of contact for the full spectrum of HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, policy and procedure advice, development, coaching, and talent management in the specific country.
  • Design and implement local policies and procedures with a focus on standardisation across locations.
  • Act as the primary contact for audit purposes.
  • Oversee and participate in the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with local labour regulations and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and third parties to ensure a compliant payroll process.
  • Manage facilities for all Sofia office supplies and ensure smooth office operations.
  • Coordinate logistics for visitors, including venue bookings and travel arrangements as needed.
  • Onboard new employees in accordance with company procedures, making sure all administration and registration tasks are completed.
  • Continuously suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Support the Talent team in recruitment efforts as required.
  • Drive and support internal people processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute people initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Brazilian law and industry standards in collaboration with legal advisors.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employment governance and data in HRIS systems.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in the online or onsite gaming / betting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, including performance management, employee relations, compensation, and organisational development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
