A leading global sports organization is seeking a Host City Manager for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™ in Brazil. This role involves managing relationships with state and municipal governments to ensure project commitments are met. Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in government relations, and proficiency in English and Portuguese is required. The Host City Manager will be responsible for the institutional management of FIFA's relationship with the state and municipal governments of the respective Host City of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™.
Acting as the main local liaison, this professional will ensure the monitoring and coordination of government commitments under their responsibility, ensuring continuous alignment with FIFA's strategy and guidelines.
The position is preferably based in the Host City itself, ensuring local presence, institutional proximity, and direct monitoring of agendas.
The Manager will report directly to the Head of Government Relations and Host Cities.
The tournament will be staged across 8 stadiums in Brazil, and we’re recruiting one Host City Manager for each host city:
