Overview

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Adzuna. We are currently looking for a Head of Sales - North America in the United States.

This role provides the opportunity to lead and scale the North American sales organization, driving revenue growth across multiple client segments and products. You will manage a high-performing team, collaborate with cross-functional departments including Partnerships, Product, and Marketing, and develop strategies to expand market share and enterprise relationships. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales leader with experience building teams, winning major enterprise clients, and bringing innovative solutions to market. This position is central to achieving ambitious growth goals while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative, offering significant impact and visibility.

Accountabilities
  • Lead, coach, and grow the North American sales team, acting as a player-coach to motivate and inspire peak performance.
  • Drive revenue growth across enterprise, agency, and direct client segments, meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
  • Develop annual and monthly revenue forecasts, and implement strategies to achieve them.
  • Own relationships with top-tier clients and prospects, negotiating deals and expanding long-term partnerships.
  • Implement best-in-class sales processes and tools for pipeline management, lead generation, demos, and client engagement.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to launch new offerings, develop revenue streams, and optimize campaigns for profitability.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences, building brand awareness and market presence.
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize sales strategies based on data-driven insights.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, account management, or business development, preferably in SaaS, digital advertising, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams and bringing new products to market.
  • Demonstrated ability to win new business from major enterprises, including competing against established industry incumbents.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of leading by example while motivating and coaching a team.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and strategic planning skills to manage client campaigns and sales performance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport internally and externally.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in selling to Talent Management, HR, or Recruiters is a plus.
  • Experience working for challenger brands or with global businesses across multiple time zones is a plus.

Knowledge of programmatic ad buying is advantageous
