The role is responsible for launching customer solutions and sales across the whole range of Global Trade & Receivables Finance (GTRF) products in Brazil

Key responsibilities include providing technical expertise to Front-Line Business Development Managers, assisting in the structuring of bespoke open account solutions, and ensuring a high quality customer experience

The role holder will build out a team of structuring specialists in the different regions, to ensure a consistent operating model in support of our front-line Business Development Managers (BDMs)

Responsibilities
  • Duties & Responsibilities : _
  • Provide an effective strategy to manage the GTRF portfolio in maximising returns
  • Be the focal GTRF transaction specialist around RWA efficiency and returns
  • Take the GTRF lead in transactional regulatory issues and support the business as it changes its regulatory reporting
  • Coordinate the Business Development Managers team
  • Work with Relationship Managers to educate how best to maximise returns
  • Introduce a new framework to maximise returns for guarantees and loans
  • Ensure all stakeholders are supportive and understand the new strategy
  • Maintaining a balanced approach to risk management
  • Maintain close liaison with intra-country, intra-region and cross-regional colleagues / stakeholders so as to provide leadership on returns
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
Requirements
  • Experience & Qualifications : _
  • Portuguese and English language proficiency
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of ten years proven banking experience
  • Proven financial, analytical, mathematical and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of the business and products supported and pertinent regulations impacting their delivery, including those related to documentation requirements
  • Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages
  • Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) is a specialism within the Commercial Banking (CMB) function and provides services and financing for buyers and suppliers throughout the trade cycle, helping them to use working capital efficiently, manage trade risk and fund their supply chains
