We're looking for an entrepreneurial Growth & Community Coordinator to establish Sling's on-the-ground presence in Brazil.
This is a high-energy role that blends the hustle of outbound sales with creative field marketing and community engagement in order to build authentic relationships within our target communities.
You’ll be out in the field, meeting people where they are, at coworking spaces, university campuses, freelancer hotspots, and community events.
You’ll execute creative campaigns that cut through the noise and show people the value of Sling in ways that feel authentic and exciting.
This isn’t a desk job.
It’s about being scrappy, testing bold ideas, and building Sling's presence from the ground up in Mexico.
You’ll have the freedom to experiment, the autonomy to execute, and the responsibility to make things happen.
Identify and engage with our target communities both offline and online, executing creative campaigns that show people the value of Sling.
Organize hyperlocal events for our target communities to drive awareness of Sling, from freelancer workshops with accountants to university takeovers.
Develop and execute attention-grabbing stunts that create buzz and get people talking.
Conduct field interviews at community hotspots to gather market insights and user feedback.
Manage Portuguese-speaking communities across WhatsApp and Slack, keeping users engaged and supported.
Build partnerships with local organizations, universities, and businesses that can drive user growth.
Provide local market intelligence to inform product and marketing strategies.
At least 2 years of experience in growth, community management, field marketing, or sales and business development.
Based in Brazil with willingness to travel to US and Europe.
Fluency in Portuguese, plus professional English proficiency
Scrappy and hungry self-starter with a resourceful mindset and the ability to execute independently.
Strong interpersonal skills and comfort engaging strangers in public settings.
Experience with community platforms (WhatsApp, Slack, etc.).
Comfortable working in ambiguity and turning ideas into action quickly.
Experience in consumer, fintech, payments, or cross-border financial services.
Direct experience working with freelancer, student, or expat communities.
Track record of launching successful grassroots marketing campaigns.
Existing network within target communities in Brazil.
