Job summary

Alcoa is seeking a Global Asset Management Systems Lead to elevate asset systems, governance, and data-driven reporting. You will guide system solution strategies, health monitoring, and real-time data connections across enterprise maintenance, engineering, and reliability domains.

The role focuses on master data governance, KPI development, and dashboards to drive global performance and cost efficiencies. Hybrid on-site work with heavy collaboration across sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership in asset management environments.

• Knowledge of Master Data Management and Data Governance.
• Experience with ERP, EAM, CMMS, MES or related enterprise systems.

About the Role

Our Asset Management team keeps Alcoa’s global operations running at their best - driving efficiency, minimising downtime, and ensuring safe, reliable performance across every site. We’re now looking for a Global Asset Management Systems Lead to elevate this work by championing best‑practice asset systems, strengthening master data governance, and advancing performance insights through powerful, data‑driven reporting.

As a key specialist in this space, you will support system solution strategies, integrations, real‑time data connections, system health monitoring, and the development of data‑integration dashboards for maintenance, engineering, and reliability applications across the enterprise.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the Asset Management team to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery of asset management systems and processes across all sites and functions.
• Maintain and improve master data standards to support compliance with the Asset Management Framework and drive productivity and cost improvements.
• Develop maintenance KPIs, reporting, and dashboards to provide clear visibility of operational performance for asset owners and managers.
• Optimise and configure asset management systems including CMMS, MES, predictive tools, and engineering applications to align with evolving business and analytical needs.
• Analyse asset and maintenance data to generate insights that guide global work management optimisation and future improvement strategies.Act as the central liaison across functional groups to support system integrations, digital transformation initiatives, connected worker solutions, and proactive system health monitoring.

What you can bring to the role

• Availability to work on site (hybrid model)
• Fluent English
• Substantial experience in engineering or MES environments within heavy industry, specializing in data analytics.
• Proven ability to engage, influence, coach, and lead diverse teams, supported by excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical capability with the ability to rapidly translate business processes into user‑friendly applications, working effectively across multiple disciplines and applying robust project management practices.
• Experience leading Asset Management, Engineering Systems, Maintenance Systems, Reliability Systems, or Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Strong background in Master Data Management and Data Governance.
• Experience supporting ERP, EAM, CMMS, or enterprise business systems.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and change leadership capabilities.
• Experience influencing diverse global teams within a matrix organization
