• Ensure performance of formwork carpentry works according to safety and quality standards.
• Follow daily instructions given by Foreman.
• Perform formwork cutting, fabrication, assembly and dismantling.
• Verify all equipment and tools are in safe operating conditions.
• Ensure coordination with adjacent works to minimize activities.

Job Title: Formwork Carpenter

Location: Offshore - Brazil

Project: JDS6000

Work Schedule: 7 days x 12 hours

About us: Saipem is a global leader in engineering services for the design, construction and operation of complex infrastructures and plants in the energy sector, both offshore and onshore.

Vessel: JDS6000 is a multipurpose DP3 vessel for pipelaying (J-lay and S-lay) and heavy lift applications, useful for offshore projects such as decommissioning and wind farms. The JDS6000 is also equipped with a fully rotating heavy-lift crane with a lifting capacity of 5,200 tones.

Job Mission:

• Ensure the performance of formwork carpentry works following Foreman instructions and in accordance with safety and quality standards

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform the formwork carpentry works in accordance with safety and quality requirements
• Follow daily instructions given by Foreman
• Perform formwork cutting, fabrication, assembly and dismantling
• Ensure the works are carried out according to project drawings
• Verify all the equipment and tools are in good and safe operating conditions and report any anomalies to Foreman
• Ensure coordination with the adjacent works to minimize activities and eliminate unsafe conditions
• Follow the permit-to-work statement
• Ensure the housekeeping of the work location
