Jobtailor in São Paulo, Brazil, is seeking a financial operations professional to manage daily disbursements and ensure accurate, timely payments. The role requires strong reconciliation skills and knowledge of Brazilian payment systems, with coordination to headquarters and international teams.

Based in São Paulo or able to work on-site, you will handle validation, reporting, and ad hoc requests as the business grows, ensuring controls and records remain precise and up-to-date.

Qualificações

• More than 2 years of experience in financial operations, treasury operations, payment/disbursement processing, or similar roles at banks, fintechs, or financial services companies.
• Practical knowledge of Brazilian payment methods and payment systems.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify an inconsistency in a number before it becomes a problem.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and reconciling data from different sources.
• Professional English proficiency for communication and coordination with headquarters and international teams.
• Based in São Paulo or available to work on-site in the city.

Responsabilidades

• Process Tensec’s daily transaction disbursements in Brazil, ensuring payments are accurate, complete, and made on time
• Validate payment instructions against internal records before disbursements are made, identifying potential errors in advance
• Reconcile disbursement transactions against bank statements and internal systems, identifying and flagging discrepancies
• Coordinate with banking partners to confirm payment settlement and follow up on any delays or exceptions
• Keep disbursement transaction records and controls accurate and up to date
• Support the preparation of monthly closing reports related to disbursement volumes and reconciliation status
• Promptly report discrepancies, delays, or unusual patterns to the manager and Financial Operations team
• Support ad hoc requests related to financial operations as Tensec’s business in Brazil grows
