This position reports to the Finance Manager and is based at Sao Paulo, Brazil.

What you will do

In this role, you will operate at the critical intersection of finance and technology, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of financial objectives and challenges to implement effective technology solutions.

You will be responsible for overseeing the development execution, value realization, and ongoing management of finance systems, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the organization.

The role will lead the optimisation of finance systems by ensuring straight‑through data processing and data integrity while enhancing the user experience and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Explore and Innovate : Identify and evaluate new solutions by analysing existing processes and system capabilities to enhance financial operations.
• Data Integrity and Governance : Ensure data integrity across all financial systems and analytical tools, implementing best practices for data governance and monitoring adherence to global standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Expertise : Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, providing financial business process and system expertise to global partners to ensure best practices are shared and implemented.
• Project Management : Lead all aspects and phases of assigned projects, including project preparation, validation, and support, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Communicate effectively and collaborate with IT, Finance Operations, FP&A, and Data teams to provide functional expertise and support for legacy platforms.
• System Inquiry Resolution : Research and address system‑related inquiries through root cause analysis, effectively communicating solutions to stakeholders.
• Tool Promotion and Training : Promote the use of implemented tools and create training materials, conducting sessions for business partners to enhance user competency and streamline business processes.
• Performance Monitoring : Analyse system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to continuously enhance finance technology solutions.
• Ownership of SAP Processes : Take ownership of SAP financial processes and reporting tools, ensuring they remain current and relevant to operational needs.
• Financial Closing Support : Assist in financial closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a 4‑year college degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or IT
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel lookup and reference functions
• Minimum of 3 years of SAP ERP enhancement and run support experience
• Knowledge and experience working with SAP standard configuration, experience with core FICO, MM & SD processes and transactions as well as the ability to conduct a root cause analysis on system issues and data inconsistencies
• A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Strong analytical, problem solving and team building skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and plan effectively, initiative to follow through on directives and knowledge and sensitivity to global partners / cultures / norms
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

• An advanced degree in business, accounting or computer science is preferred.
• Working knowledge of tools like SAP BI, OneStream, Tableau and Alteryx is desirable.
