Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee and strengthen the financial operations of our growing logistics and freight forwarding organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep financial expertise, and a hands-on approach to driving accuracy, efficiency, and informed decision-making across all areas of finance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage financial planning, annual budget, and projections.
  • Control cash flow, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Oversee accounting and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the board.
  • Support strategic decisions with financial analysis and performance indicators.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Monitor and audit file closing and their financial conclusion.
  • Manage the finance team, promoting development and efficiency.
  • Negotiate with banks, suppliers, and financial partners.
  • Implement improvements to financial processes and systems.
Qualifications and competencies
  • Experience in freight forwarding companies (minimum 5 years)
  • Experience with the CargoWise system - desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Controllership, or Business Management (desirable).
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in medium-to-large companies.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting, tax legislation, financial planning, and ERP.
  • Advanced Excel and proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Fluent English.
