As field service engineer you will be part of a global technical knowledge network and will be responsible to provide technical support to our customers on their sites.

You will be part of the Brazil professional services team. Our department is responsible to deliver first class services 24/7.

Your responsibilities
- Provide technical overseeing to customers on their sites during the execution of their scope, including, maintenance, assembly, installation and commissioning of mining/pulp & paper industry equipment such as HPGRs, crushers, sizers and/or rotary kilns or related machines
- Identify and supervise the correction of more complex technical problems associated with maintenance/operation.
- Provide technical support to customers, FLSmidth Backoffice team and our suppliers.
- Execute advanced external and internal trainings.
- Researches, evaluates, and recommends new products, parts, upgrades and services that will meet customer needs.
- Elaboration of technical/field reports/documents
- Elaboration of field administrative reports/documents
- Develops on-going relationships with customers to secure future business.
- Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.
- Responsibilities may include supervision of projects/processes/people, working independently with limited supervision, delegating and reviewing the work of execution employees.
- Problems faced are difficult and complex.
What you bring
- 10 years of technical experience with maintenance, assembly, installation and commissioning of mining/pulp & paper industry equipment such as HPGRs, crushers, sizers and/or rotary kilns or related machines.
- Advanced/fluent English/Spanish language knowledge is very important (not mandatory).
- Availability to travel and be at suppliers/customers sites up to 90% of the time.
- Good Interpersonal relationship.
- Engineering graduation (not mandatory).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Tools (MS Office, MS project, Outlook, etc).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player & strong work ethics and integrity.
- Preferably experience in working with international colleagues.
