Field Service Engineer (T4)

The FSE is responsible for delivering services to customers, performing preventive and corrective technical services in line with good maintenance practices. The role involves leading the assigned installed base for excellence in performance, acting as the strongest link between customers' needs and Beckman Coulter. The position reports to the Field Service Coordinator (SP+) and is part of Service Brasil located in Belo Horizonte – MG. This is an on‑site role working exclusively within one of the company’s most important clients as a Resident Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Customer‑facing role and relationship building.
• Lead as a team member and in partnership with peers and the organization to achieve results.
• Act as a role model to improve customer service.
• Manage demands versus priorities and lead plans that impact service metrics in pursuit of continuous improvement.
• Support the service business by executing budget premises, overtime, spare parts consumption, travel and expenses, and key metrics performance.

Qualifications

Essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree in Engineering or a similar field.
• 5+ years in technical services (IVD) or a similar industry.
• Proven experience with hands‑on service, pre‑ and post‑installation, field and remote support.
• Strong skills with processes, KPIs and leading execution of action plans for deviations.
• Advanced English proficiency; native Brazilian Portuguese speaker.

Travel & Physical Requirements

Travel: Available for travelling > 40% of the work time, be on site with customers.

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
