Baker Hughes in Macaé, Brazil, is seeking a Field Operator to support pressure pumping activities on our on-site team. You will assist the Field Specialist, operate equipment, monitor service progress and manage materials at the job site while coordinating with clients and on-site Baker Hughes staff.

Successful candidates will have a technical degree, be fluent in Portuguese with strong communication skills, and possess or be working toward a CREA/ CFT registration as required.

Responsabilidades

• Providing assistance to the Field Specialist and operating Baker Hughes equipment, monitoring service and materials at the job site.
• Working closely with clients and Baker Hughes personnel delivering world-class services.
• Coordinating with on-site staff while ensuring safety policies are followed.
• Ensuring adherence to Baker Hughes safety and operations policies and standard practices.
• Monitoring and documenting maintenance on equipment or reporting status to prevent downtime.
• Confirming well data with the customer and Baker Hughes personnel and offering recommendations.
• Maintaining a professional relationship with the customer’s company representative.

As a Field Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Providing assistance to the Field Specialist and is capable in the operation of Baker Hughes equipment, monitors and records the progression of service and use of materials at the job site
• Working closely with clients and other Baker Hughes Personnel while effectively delivering world class Services
• Coordinating with employees on site while performing the job and assuring compliance with customers and Baker Hughes safety requirements
• Assuring that all Baker Hughes safety and operations policies and standard practices are adhered to
• Monitoring and documents all maintenance on equipment or reports status to preclude unnecessary equipment down time
• Conferring with the customer and Baker Hughes personnel to verify well data and offers recommendations
• Maintaining an open and business-like relationship with the company representative

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a Technical Degree in a related field
• Maintain a regular situation with the CFT or CREA
• Be of an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions
• Have experience motivating the team
• Be fluent in Portuguese and preferable in English, with excellent all-round communication skills
