A leading global technology company based in Blumenau is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join their agile team. In this role, you will work on infrastructure pieces, guide on DevOps methodologies, and ensure the smooth operation of applications in a production environment. You should have strong experience with AWS, CI/CD processes, and various monitoring tools. Flexible working hours and a supportive culture await you.

We are building a world class team and would love you to join us. As an experienced Cloud Engineer you'll be part of an agile project team working with all the infrastructure pieces of a system. From writing code to provisioning infrastructures to driving root cause analysis, all while having fun learning and building things.

You will also be guiding the team on DevOps methodologies and best practices, and have very close contacts with CEO, COO (others) from client side, so English must feel as second nature to you. National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

Requirements

You are good at:

• Roaming around Linux/Unix systems and pinpointing problem root causes
• Understanding how the Internet and web applications work under the hood
• Metrics, logs, distributed tracing and everything around observability
• Configuration management frameworks such as Ansible
• Maintaining applications in a production environment
• Being self‑driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose
• Feeling humble and motivated by being able to learn/teach others
• Comfortable with DevOps methodologies and best practices

You rock at:

• Good experience using Cloud provider AWS.
• Experience setting up CI/CD and AWS networking and accounts.
• Experience with containers and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• A solid understanding of CI/CD independently from the tools (i.e. ArgoCD, Github, GitHub actions, Gitlab and/or Jenkins).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and its tools, such as Terraform, Terragrunt or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring (i.e. DataDog, CloudWatch, Grafana, Kibana, Dynatrace, or others).
• Experience with Helm Charts.
• Experience with language for automation task and scripting such as Bash, Python or Javascript and TypeScript.
• Very comfortable with English.
• Some experience of managing a production system.
