Private Advertiser in Brazil's North Region seeks an experienced Executive, Facility Maintenance to oversee maintenance of a warehousing and distribution facility. You will manage preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate external contractors, and ensure safety and reliability of building systems.

You will collaborate with operations, plan budgets, supervise projects, and drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in maintenance and/or project teams within warehouse/logistics or heavy industrial environments.
• Diploma or Higher Nitec in electrical, mechanical or refrigeration.
• Strong knowledge of facility management, equipment maintenance and safety standards.
• Experience in facility plant maintenance in manufacturing or warehouse with temperature-controlled operations.
• Experience in maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to communicate with technicians and executives.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills for team management.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office.
• Analytical mindset with proactive problem-solving and willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Preventive maintenance planning and execution across facility equipment, including building systems.
• Coordinate corrective maintenance with external contractors and vendors to ensure safety and cost-effectiveness.
• Inspect facility equipment and perimeter, and report on maintenance performance.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive, Facility Maintenance to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of a warehousing and distribution facility in the North Region. This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, equipment and infrastructure through effective maintenance planning and coordination.

The successful candidate will work closely with operations and external service providers to maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance of Facility Equipment

• In line with Industry and Corporate standards, developed site specific strategy and oversee execution of preventive maintenance activities to optimize operational availability and efficiency. This includes all building facilities and equipment including ASRS, warehouse, electrical, MHE, building envelope, refrigeration, fire systems etc

• Monitor and report compliance with preventive maintenance schedules and checklists across the facility.

• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and propose long-term solutions for equipment reliability.

• Prepare reports on maintenance performance and recommend improvements to management.

Ad-hoc or Corrective Maintenance of Facility Equipment

• Manage and coordinate corrective maintenance activities to ensure timely resolution of faults or breakdowns.

• Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, quality and cost-effectiveness.

• Evaluate corrective maintenance processes and recommend optimizations to reduce recurrence of faults.

Inspection of Facility Equipment and Building Perimeter

• Plan and oversee the implementation of regular inspections for all facility equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.

• Conduct periodic formalized assessments of the maintenance program and process safety management framework elements, identifying appropriate corrective actions or improvement programs

General– Facility

• Supervise and guide the execution of building maintenance and improvement projects

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposed changes align with operational goals and regulatory compliance.

• Develop and manage budgets and schedules for maintenance and improvement projects.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance and/or project teams with a demonstrated ability to manage complex project/maintenance operations in a warehouse/logistics or heavy industrial environment

• Diploma / Higher Nitec / Nitec in a related field e.g. electrical, mechanical, refrigeration

• Strong knowledge of facility management, equipment maintenance, and safety standards.

• Experience in facility plant maintenance in the manufacturing, food processing and/or warehouse with temperature-controlled operations.

• Experience in maintenance of industrial plant refrigeration systems is an advantage.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with Technicians, all stakeholders and Senior Executives

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.

• Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office tools.
