We are seeking an experienced Python engineer to support and develop new tools and processes for our on-prem private cloud application.

As a key member of our team, you will communicate technical concepts clearly, facilitate discussions, collaborate with stakeholders, provide project updates, and mentor team members.

Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires strong backend development skills in Python or other preferred languages, Linux Essentials knowledge, experience working with files, compressed backups, and archives, system security expertise in users, groups, file permissions, and public / private directories, basic scripting skills, strong computer networking knowledge, especially transport layers (TCP / UDP / etc.), cloud computing concepts experience, effective collaboration across remote teams and time zones, proficiency in GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools, container technology experience (Docker, Linux Containers, etc.) and Kubernetes Cluster Administration experience (designing, configuring, controlling, and monitoring clusters).

Responsibilities
