A leading e-commerce technology company in Brazil is seeking an Engineering Manager for Catalog to lead the modernization of its e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in backend development, team leadership, and system architecture. This role offers a flexible work schedule and an array of benefits including health insurance and profit-sharing programs.
As Engineering Manager for Catalog, you’ll lead one of the most critical domains in VTEX’s commerce platform — the core of the e-commerce experience, where all product information, categories, brands, and attributes are managed and served to buyers and sellers.
The VTEX e-commerce platform has empowered businesses to establish robust online stores and manage product catalogs for decades. As the platform evolved, its components were gradually modernized. Today, the Catalog team owns the last key pieces of this legacy platform while driving the transformation toward a modern, modular, and scalable Catalog experience that will serve as the foundation for VTEX’s next generation of commerce capabilities.
In this role, you will guide a highly capable engineering team through this transition — balancing technical direction, system reliability, and people growth — while shaping the long-term vision of catalog experience at VTEX.
