Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd is seeking a capable engineer to lead shift technicians and contractors, ensure SOP compliance, and drive AI-enabled improvements in a semiconductor environment. The role requires strong problem-solving, leadership, and clean room experience.

You will analyze data, perform root-cause investigations, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet strategic objectives while exploring AI tools to enhance productivity and quality.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Open to permanent 12-hour day/night shift as assigned by supervisor.
• Leadership demonstrated through projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
• Problem-solving abilities with 8D, 5 Why, PFMEA methodologies.
• Strong written/verbal/presentation communication skills.
• Able to work in a clean room environment.
• Proven MS Office experience.
• PROBE internship experience within a semiconductor company is a plus.
• Experience on relevant projects is a plus.
• Interest/knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
• Understanding or interest in AI applications in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Ability to apply digital fluency and AI literacy for research, analysis, and operations.

• Maintain close communication and collaboration with production and process stakeholdersto achieve strategic businessobjectives.
• Establish and review SOPs to ensure they continue to be relevant andoptimizedfor operation processes.
• Explore and develop an agentic AI approach to improve productivity and protect quality.
• Evaluate, promote, and plan new equipment and materials deployment.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment andcomplyingwithorganizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement byidentifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Must be open/willing to work a permanent 12-hour day/night shift schedule as assigned by your supervisor.

• Leadership:Demonstratedleadership experience through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities, with the ability to build and develop an effective team to tackle operation challenges.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving abilities, knowledge on problemsolvingmethodologieslike 8D, 5 Why analysis, Process FailureModeand Effect Analysis(PFMEA)to deliver effective solutions.

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the initiative and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Able to work in clean room environment

• Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Demonstrated PROBE internship experience within a semiconductor company is a plus

• Experience working on projects that align with the key duties of this position is a plus

• Interestin andknowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.

• Understanding or interest in AI applications in semiconductor manufacturing, such as predictive analytics, automated defect classification, or data visualization is preferred.

• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency androle‑appropriate AIliteracy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
