Acteon Group in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, seeks an experienced Engineer to support mooring and subsea installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and alignment with industry best practices. You will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

Based in Brazil, the role requires designing mooring systems, developing installation procedures, reviewing calculations, and producing reports and proposals. Fluency in English and CREA registration are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in mooring/offshore projects.
• Active CREA registration (or eligible).
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsabilidades

• Design and analyze mooring systems for platforms.
• Develop procedures for installation of subsea equipment.
• Review technical calculations and drawings.
• Issue detailed design reports.
• Support senior engineers in offshore activities.
• Prepare technical proposals and quotations.
• Support risk and safety analyses (JSA).

The Engineer will perform technical and operational engineering activities, including supporting mooring and subsea installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and alignment with industry best practices. The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

Required

• Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions / projects
• Active CREA registration
