Jobgether is seeking a Pleno AI Engineer in Brazil to help build a scalable AI agent platform. You will contribute to architecture, governance, observability, and reusable AI components in a high-complexity environment.

The role combines software engineering, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and modern generative AI practices. You will work on agent orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and security.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with prompt engineering techniques and model evaluation.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS and/or OCI).
• Hands-on experience with AI agents or orchestration frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve the core architecture of an AI agent platform with governance and scalability.
• Implement telemetry, logging, observability, and auditing across the agent lifecycle.
• Collaborate across AI initiatives to align architecture and knowledge sharing.

This role offers the opportunity to help build the technical foundation for scalable AI agent platforms in a high-complexity environment.
You will contribute to the architecture, governance, observability, and evolution of reusable AI components and agent ecosystems.
The position combines software engineering, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and modern generative AI practices.
You will work on initiatives involving agent orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, security, embeddings, and RAG.
Your work will help establish standards and infrastructure that enable AI initiatives to scale safely and consistently.
You will collaborate across AI initiatives, sharing technical knowledge and helping bring critical capabilities in-house.
This is a hands‑on opportunity for an engineer who wants to turn emerging AI technologies into robust, production-ready solutions.

Accountabilities

• Build and evolve the core architecture of an AI agent platform, ensuring standardization, governance, scalability, and high reusability.
• Develop and integrate robust mechanisms for tracking, metrics, evaluation, logging, observability, and auditing throughout the agent lifecycle.
• Assess AI agent initiatives by understanding their requirements, behavioral patterns, interactions, and orchestration needs.
• Contribute to bringing critical components in-house, increasing control, security, consistency, and maintainability across the AI ecosystem.
• Collaborate with other AI initiatives to ensure technical alignment, architectural consistency, and knowledge sharing.
• Develop foundational MVPs and reusable capabilities, including documentation standards, agent templates, monitoring tools, and observability protocols.
• Support the evolution of AI engineering practices by identifying opportunities to improve reliability, evaluation, governance, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of prompt engineering techniques, including few-shot, self-ask, chain-of-thought, and tree-of-thought approaches.
• Experience with prompt A/B testing and systematic evaluation of model responses.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture, with the ability to design and implement scalable, highly available solutions.
• Experience working with application or machine learning platforms and pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, orchestrators, or frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Spring AI, or equivalent technologies.
• Proven software development experience in technically complex environments.
• Experience working with cloud environments, particularly AWS and/or OCI.
• Knowledge of embeddings, vectorization, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Understanding of prompt security techniques and strategies for mitigating prompt injection.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an engineering mindset focused on scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and AI initiatives.
