AgileEngine is seeking an Elixir Engineer to build and improve a growing software platform as a core team member. You will own development from requirements to delivery, collaborate with product managers, and work across multiple areas of the product using Elixir and PostgreSQL.

Join a small, distributed engineering team with English communication at the forefront, and a Latin America base with strong overlap with the Austin team.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Elixir and/or Erlang.
• Strong understanding of functional programming principles.
• Professional experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience designing, consuming, or maintaining APIs and service integrations.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and modern development practices.
• Ability to independently own and deliver engineering tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working across different areas of a product rather than within a narrowly specialized role.
• Experience collaborating closely with product managers and other non-engineering stakeholders.
• Ability to understand user problems and incorporate that context into technical decisions.
• Comfortable working in a small, distributed engineering team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Availability for a full-time engagement.
• Based in Latin America with strong working-hour overlap with the team in Austin, Texas.
• Ability to occasionally travel to the United States if required.

Responsabilidades
