Siemens Energy seeks an Electrical Engineering Specialist to lead multidisciplinary projects spanning e-Houses, BESS, PDS, and HVAC systems. You will guide technical strategies, ensure quality and risk management, and serve as a technical expert on global projects.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Electrical Engineering Specialist at Siemens Energy, you will play a key role in developing innovative solutions for projects involving e-Houses, feasibility studies, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Distribution Systems (PDS), and other related applications. Your daily activities will include leading technical strategies, ensuring quality and risk management, and serving as a technical expert on global projects.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners, to estimate costs, manage resources, and deliver high-quality technical documentation and reports.

By mentoring team members and monitoring productivity and project progress metrics, your work will have a direct impact on the successful execution of projects, contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions.

The Specialist will lead projects involving integrated solutions, including electrical systems, automation, fire and gas detection and suppression systems (F&G), and HVAC systems, while also being responsible for the financial management of engineering projects. This role requires the ability to plan and coordinate resources throughout all project phases, including engineering, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), installation/assembly, commissioning, and assisted operation.

In addition, you will support the Bid Team by contributing technical input and resource planning for each stage of new project opportunities.

The position also requires occasional domestic and international travel for technical meetings with customers and suppliers and, when necessary, site visits to support and monitor project activities.

• Provide technical leadership for multidisciplinary projects involving e-Houses, BESS, PDS, and electrical infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and validate engineering concepts, ensuring compliance with technical standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinate engineering resources throughout all project phases, ensuring schedule, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.
• Serve as a technical reference for internal teams and external stakeholders on both local and global projects.
• Lead risk assessments, technical solution development, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Support the Bid Team in defining technical scopes, cost estimates, and resource planning for new project opportunities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Solid experience in electrical engineering projects involving power distribution systems, substations, e-Houses, BESS, or similar industrial solutions.
• Experience in technical leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary projects.
• Global mindset, including familiarity with international technical regulations and experience executing global projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, NEC, and IEEE standards, including their application in engineering projects, compliance assessments, and field activities.
• Proactive profile with strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Commercial acumen for cost estimation, resource allocation, and project productivity management.
• Advanced English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.

The team is responsible for the development and execution of engineering projects for industrial customers, supporting initiatives from the conceptual phase through startup and plant commissioning. Working in a multidisciplinary environment, the team covers electrical, automation, instrumentation, control, process, mechanical, and civil engineering disciplines, with a strong focus on power distribution and e-House solutions.
