Job summary

CACTUS Communications is seeking an Editor to help researchers worldwide publish cutting-edge work. You will edit manuscripts to ensure standard scientific English, clarity, and adherence to journal guidelines, while applying subject-area expertise.

You hold a PhD in the relevant field and have excellent English, keen eye for detail, and (ideally) prior editing experience. This remote role offers flexible hours and the chance to work with researchers globally via our platform.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in the required subject area.
• Excellent English proficiency and attention to detail (prior editing experience would be great).
• Editing manuscripts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Edit manuscripts so the final text is standard scientific English and free of unclear sentences.
• Adhere to job-specific guidelines and format manuscripts according to the target journal when required.
