Qualificações

  • Minimum 10 years in healthcare sales and marketing roles.
  • Orthopaedics knowledge or experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership role at the Director level.

We are searching for the best talent for the DePuy Synthes Education Director LATAM.

Purpose: The DPS Education Director is responsible for defining the vision, mission, and goals for Professional Education and for developing and deploying the Latin America ProfEd/CommEd strategy in alignment with Global Education Solutions, Worldwide, and Regional Marketing strategies.

Will head the ProfEd/Commed organization (DPS) across all LATAM clusters — Brazil, Mexico, Northern Cluster, and Southern Cluster — ensuring flawless execution of external HCP educational programs.

You will be responsible for:

1. Continuing Professional Education (ProfEd)
  • Redesign the end-to-end orthopaedics educational strategy across strategic platforms to support the DPS LATAM strategy.
  • Lead the LATAM relationship with AO and actively participate in strategic forums to strengthen the partnership.
  • Lead the Latin America Professional Education curriculum for the safe and effective use of J&J products, including creation and implementation of educational programs.
  • Incorporate global benchmarks into the educational strategy and portfolio.
  • Ensure full adherence to relevant HCC/HCP compliance guidelines in the design and execution of educational activities.
  • Build and develop the orthopaedics professional education structure.
  • Redesign organizational processes (PR&O) to support the new operational model in orthopaedics.
  • Develop a long‑term faculty strategy for orthopaedics.

Internal Education (Commed)

  • Design an internal training strategy segmented by audience (New Hires, Fundamental, Intermediate, and Advanced sales segments) based on business priorities and Go‑to‑Market plans.
  • Design new capability-building initiatives to expand training effectiveness across LATAM for internal and indirect channel organizations.
  • Create a content strategy to support effective training delivery.

Other Responsibilities

  • Represent LATAM education in strategic forums, including:
  • Global internal education forums.
  • AO Global meetings where LATAM participation is required.
  • Regional meetings with local senior education leaders.
  • LATAM DPS leadership meetings.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare sales & marketing roles (e.g., Sales, Sales Training, Professional Education, Brand Marketing, and/or Sales Management) with a proven track record of success.
  • Orthopaedics knowledge or experience.
  • Experience engaging with senior corporate management.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience leading teams at the Director level.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into educational solutions that support company goals.
  • Proven leadership skills to motivate and manage distributed teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams within a matrix organization.
