BairesDev is seeking a Distinguished Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to steer technical direction on a growing AWS-hosted platform. You will translate product goals into working software and influence multiple teams.

You will design event-driven microservices, mentor senior engineers, and collaborate with end users to clarify requirements. This is a 100% remote role with competitive USD compensation and flexible hours.

• 10+ years of backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong event-driven microservices architecture design and production experience.
• Extensive AWS hosting and operations background.
• Experience taking software to production and owning its operation.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools.
