Job summary

BairesDev, a global software partner, is seeking a Distinguished Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to shape technical direction on a large AWS-hosted platform. You will translate product goals into scalable software and mentor engineers across teams.

In this 100% remote role, you will collaborate directly with end users, champion AI-assisted development, and set architecture practices while delivering production-grade solutions in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with event-driven microservices in production.
• Strong background with AWS-hosted platforms.
• Experience taking software to production and operating it.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Excellent collaboration with end users.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a product capability from first design through delivery and ongoing operation.
• Deliver working software from product goals.
• Set the architecture and engineering practices for event-driven services on AWS.
