What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Lead the design, execution, and dissemination of high-impact research initiatives on financial health topics
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of research projects, ensuring quality and timeliness
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance the accessibility and actionability of research insights
- Supervise and mentor research staff, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration
- Cultivate relationships with funders and partners to support research funding and project execution
What is Required (Qualifications)
- 10+ years of professional experience in industry, nonprofit, and/or academic settings with a focus on research leadership
- Demonstrated expertise in financial health and well-being or related subjects
- Proven methodological expertise in survey design, quantitative and qualitative research, or program evaluation
- Proficiency in at least one statistical or programming language; Stata or R preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in data governance and working with large datasets, particularly administrative data
- Successful track record in research fundraising and business development
- Familiarity with grant-writing and the contract proposal process
