Life Steps Foundation is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide personal care services in the Arroyo Grande and San Luis Obispo area on a full-time basis.

Essential duties include meal prep, hygiene assistance, mobility support, medication reminders, and documentation of services. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, CNA experience is welcome. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, and a 403B plan.

Qualificações

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• CNA's or CNA experience welcomed.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meals and assist with eating.
• Assist with bathing and toileting as needed.
• Perform light cleaning.
• Assist individuals with daily activities and mobility.
• Monitor daily medication intake and assist as needed.
• Identify supports and assist in using community resources.
• Help develop and maintain relationships.
• Assist in housing placement when needed.

LSF Central California Adult Services (CCAS) serves clients throughout the communities from Lompoc to Santa Maria to San Luis Obispo. The goal of LSF CCAS is to help adults of all ages who have developmental disabilities; our staff assists them to maximize their independence, support their individual needs and choices, and assist them in maintaining a desired quality of life.

We are looking to hire Direct Support Professionals to provide personal care services to clients in and around the Arroyo Grande and San Luis Obispo area.

Essential Job Duties

• Prepare meals and assist with eating
• Assist with bathing and toileting, if needed
• Perform light cleaning as necessary
• Assist individual with general physical activity
• Monitor and/or assist with daily medication intake
• Assist individuals with wheelchair and other mobility needs
• Identify natural and community supports and assist the individual in using them
• Support individual to develop and maintain relationships
• Assist in finding a roommate and housing, when needed
• Submit accurate, complete, and legible billing and payroll documents in a timely manner
• Adhere to approved monthly schedule and complete authorized service hours
• Ability to provide on-call assistance to clients in the event of an illness or emergency, when needed

Essential Job Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Valid Driver's License and proof of auto insurance
• High School Diploma or GED
• CNA's or CNA experience is welcomed
