VelorHealth is an established and rapidly scaling eCommerce brand operating in the 7–8 figure range.

We are looking for a highly skilled Paid Social Video Ad Editor to join our creative performance team.You will be responsible for editing high-performing ad creatives for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid channels.

This role requires a strong understanding of direct response video editing, split-testing frameworks, and what drives conversions in DTC paid media.We are not looking for a basic editor.

We are looking for someone who understands how to build attention, maintain narrative tension, and convert cold audiences into buyers through video edits engineered for performance—not aesthetics alone.

Responsibilities
  • Edit short-form, performance-optimized video ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Reels.
  • Apply proven performance tactics: strong hooks, fast pacing, dynamic cuts, motion graphics, captions, and retention-driving structure.
  • Work with raw UGC, product footage, AI-generated assets, voiceovers, and testimonials.
  • Collaborate with creative strategists to interpret scripts, briefings, and messaging frameworks into final ads.
  • Use AI video generation tools (Sora 2 or equivalent), plus editing software (Premiere, CapCut, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
  • Test multiple creative variations designed for A/B performance testing.
  • Continuously optimize edits based on data feedback—CTR, hold rate, thumb-stop ratio, CVR, CPA, etc.
  • Maintain brand consistency across dynamic performance creatives.
  • Organize and maintain creative assets for versioning, split testing, and performance tracking.
Requirements
  • Proven experience editing direct-response paid social ads (DTC experience strongly preferred).
  • Expertise in modern editing software and workflows.
  • Experience leveraging AI creative tools including video, voiceover, motion, and script generation.
  • Understanding of attention psychology: hooks, curiosity gaps, pattern interrupts, emotional pacing, and social proof stacking.
  • Able to strategically incorporate on-screen text, captions, dynamic transitions, and brand elements to maximize watch time.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced direct-response environment with tight turnaround cycles.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating performance-driven ad editing.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with 7–8 figure DTC brands.
  • Experience editing UGC ads for Meta / TikTok.
  • Familiarity with offer testing frameworks and CRO principles.
  • Ability to analyze video performance metrics and iterate based on insights.
