Challenge

A Database Developer who is comfortable working in the space between applications and the database. The role requires a combination of both database and application development skills.

What you'll do

• Support the Data Services team with database-related development tasks;
• Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas, indexes, and queries;
• Write and optimize SQL for reporting, integrations, and application use cases;
• Develop and maintain C# code interacting with databases (e.g., data access layers, APIs, or services);
• Assist with troubleshooting and performance tuning of database workloads;
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure scalable, maintainable database solutions;
• Document changes and participate in knowledge transfer.

In order to succeed in this position, you will need:

Mandatory skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and C# development.

Nice-to-have

• Some experience with database administration and/or database optimization (specifically for optimizing stored procedures in SQL).
