The Global DBA Engineer (DBA) role is responsible for the performance, integrity, security, and availability of databases within the organization. The role encompasses both strategic and operational duties, including the efficient storage of data, maintaining access reliability, and protection against data loss or unauthorized access. The DBA will collaborate closely with terminal and regional infrastructure teams to uphold current standards, implement robust backup and recovery policies, and carry out database tuning and performance monitoring to support business continuity and system optimization.
