As part of a global data and analytics consulting team, you will contribute to a data-driven transformation project for a leading multinational retail and e-commerce company. You will transform large volumes of physical store and online retail data into actionable business insights and predictive models. Working in a 100% remote environment based in Brazil, you will collaborate with Business, Product, E-commerce, Supply Chain and Data Engineering teams to develop and deploy solutions that optimize business strategy, pricing, demand forecasting and customer experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Transform large volumes of physical store and online retail data into actionable business insights.
• Develop, validate and deploy machine learning and statistical models to address real-world business challenges.
• Build time series and demand forecasting models using approaches such as ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet or machine learning-based forecasting.
• Apply customer segmentation, clustering techniques and recommendation systems.
• Build and maintain data pipelines required for analytics and model training.
• Work with modern cloud platforms and data environments, particularly Databricks and AWS.
• Apply MLOps principles, including CI/CD automation, model deployment, monitoring and performance tracking.
• Translate complex business problems into technical data science solutions and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, applying machine learning and statistical modeling to real-world business challenges.
• Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks, including Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM or similar libraries.
• Hands-on experience developing time series and forecasting models.
• Practical experience with Databricks, AWS and modern cloud-based data environments.
• Solid experience with customer segmentation, clustering techniques and recommendation systems.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines for analytics and model training.
• Practical knowledge of MLOps principles, including CI/CD automation, model deployment, monitoring and performance tracking.
• Experience with large-scale data processing in cloud data warehouse architectures. Experience in Retail, E-commerce, Supply Chain or Business Strategy analytics is a plus.
• English and Portuguese fluent.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured problem-solving approach, proactive ownership, collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect technical execution with strategic stakeholders.
