Confidential Company is seeking a Data Engineer for the Commercial and Financial area. You will design and build data lake solutions and lead migration of dashboards to Cloud Analytics platforms, while coordinating with IT and business stakeholders to ensure governance and SLAs.

The role requires a degree in a tech field, 2+ years in Data Lake projects, proficiency in Python and AWS data services, and experience with BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualificações

• 2 years minimum of practical experience in projects with Data Lake Platform.
• Experience implementing, migrating, managing BI and Data lake applications.
• Fluent or native English speaker.
• Python development language.
• Knowledge and experience with AWS Applications (Glue, Step Functions, Redshift).

A world leader in its market, with the implementation of a global 'Core Model' ecosystem, is seeking a Data Engineer for the Commercial and Financial area.

The Data Engineer will:

• Design and build Data lake solutions specifically tailored for commercial and financial data pipelines;
• Identify and propose improvements (data scope in the data platform, data feeds simplification, data platform enrichment) from an end-user perspective;
• Formalize, assess and optimize, with business representatives from Business Areas and Functions, the system solutions to support processes;
• Advise and support business, and manage requests for changes around the data lake platform;
• Maintain existing data lake and BI applications;
• Lead the migration and decommissioning of dashboards to Cloud Analytics platforms within company standards;
• Manage and execute local operational support activities, including dashboard maintenance, new acquisition integrations, maintaining operational transparency, and meeting SLAs for stakeholder communication;
• Ensure compliance with best practices and the validity of the architecture of our information systems;
• Ensure the governance of its topics and monitor the performance of the change management of systems and actions;
• Interact with Infrastructure teams to ensure the performance of the application portfolio;
• Work closely with the IT BPs to organize, follow-up and contribute to appraise business demands, propose solutions and engage with IT teams for implementation;
• Coordinate with all IT teams necessary with actions to simplify, automate and make the technology landscape more sustainable (replacing non secure tools, for example);
• Promote the company's Data Platform;
• Assist project managers in their projects when needed;
• Ensure a technology watch on relevant domain(s).

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS:

Inside the company:

• Hierarchically attached to the Commercial and Finance Data Product Manager
• Regular interactions with other IT Departments
• Business users (projects, support tickets, business requirements detailing)
• Interact with the BI Solutions Management team as needed
• Address Business Area’s BPs and interact with BP Coordinator as needed

Outside the company:

• Project subcontractors (topics related to projects)
• Applicative solution suppliers.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering;
• 2 years minimum of practical experience in projects with Data Lake Platform;
• Experience implementing, migrating, managing BI and Data lake applications;
• Fluent or native English speaker;
• Python development language;
• Knowledge and experience with AWS Applications (Glue, Step Functions, Redshift).

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Business domain (Finance, Commercial, Operations …);
• Knowledge of reporting tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI);
• Foundational training and certification in AWS data services (AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda, Amazon Redshift);
• Knowledge of Agility methodology (Scrum, …);
• Experience working within a culturally diverse global company.
