FasterPay is seeking a Data Engineer to design and operate scalable data pipelines handling millions of daily transactions. You will shape ETL/ELT workflows, design warehouses, and build lakehouse architectures to empower BI, analytics, and machine learning.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, collaborate with data scientists and analysts worldwide, and optimize performance while managing costs. Curitiba office-based role with opportunities to grow into leadership as the data platform expands.

Qualificações

• 3+ years building and operating production data pipelines.
• Bachelor's in CS, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong Python and advanced SQL skills.
• Solid experience with data modeling, schema design, and warehouse architecture.
• Hands-on with ETL/ELT orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, or similar).
• Experience with big data tools (Spark, Flink, Kafka, or similar).
• Experience with at least one data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, ClickHouse).
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Understanding of data governance, quality, and security principles.
