Sea in São Paulo seeks a Data Center Engineer to manage DC facilities, servers and network equipment, installing, monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure to ensure reliable operations for Sea products and services.

The role requires a diploma in IT/telecommunication/computer engineering, hands-on DC experience, Linux/Windows servers, VMware, and English; Portuguese fluency is essential for local teamwork.

Qualificações

• Minimum diploma in IT, telecommunication, or computer engineering.
• Hands-on data center operations experience and familiarity with facility management.
• Experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
• Experience configuring server, enterprise network, and storage equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC/CRAC, UPS, battery, and generator systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluent Portuguese and working English for regional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and install network and server hardware according to requirements.
• Maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot infrastructure health; fix issues as they arise.
• Deploy and configure Linux servers; manage data center assets and inventories.
• Maintain documentation and reports for auditing and tracking purposes.
• Coordinate with data center partners on facilities like cooling, fire suppression, UPS, etc.
• Provide remote management of data center sites and teams across regions.

About the Team

Our Infrastructure team provides the end-to-end managed services and solutions for the Group's entire Internet infrastructure alongside running business applications. We excel in building the architecture, providing solutions and operations of data centre, connectivity, cloud, networking, system, storage and security. We are a proud provider of high-quality and stable running business applications and services to our internal business units. Data Center Engineers implement the entire backbone data center infrastructure that ensures all Sea products and services run without a hitch. As a Data Center Engineer, you will manage the DC facilities, servers and network equipment that run over server applications across all regions for our massive user base.

Job Description

• Setup and install network and server hardware according to business requirements
• Maintain, diagnose and troubleshoot infrastructure system health and fix any issues that arise
• Deploy and configure Linux server operating system
• Manage data center assets and inventories
• Maintain proper documentation and reports for auditing and tracking purposes.
• Work with data center partners to understand and ensure facilities like cooling, fire suppression, UPS system, etc are working properly and in accordance with our requirements
• Remote management of Data Center sites and teams from local and other countries.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunication/Computer Engineering or related fields
• Hands-on experience in Data Center operations, familiarity with facility management, server hardware and network equipment
• Familiar with Linux, Windows servers, and VMWare operating systems
• Familiar with setup and configuration of the server, enterprise network, and SAN equipment
• Possess knowledge of HVAC/CRAC, UPS, Battery and Generator systems is a plus
• Work independently and have the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Work effectively with minimal direction or supervision for day-to-day tasks and communicate outcomes
• Fast-learning ability, willing to pick up new skills and technologies
• Portuguese fluency and working English for regional and headquarters collaboration
