Descrição da oferta de emprego

About Us:

YipitData is the leading market research and analytics firm for the disruptive economy and most recently raised $475M from The Carlyle Group at a valuation of over $1B. Every day, our proprietary technology analyzes billions of alternative data points to uncover actionable insights across sectors like software, AI, cloud, e-commerce, ridesharing, and payments. Our data and research teams transform raw data into strategic intelligence, delivering accurate, timely, and deeply contextualized analysis that our customers—ranging from the world’s top investment funds to Fortune 500 companies—depend on to drive high-stakes decisions. From sourcing and licensing novel datasets to rigorous analysis and expert narrative framing, our teams ensure clients get not just data, but clarity and confidence. We operate globally with offices in the US, APAC, and India. Our award-winning, people-centric culture—recognized by Inc. as a Best Workplace for three consecutive years—emphasizes transparency, ownership, and continuous mastery.

What It’s Like to Work at YipitData:

YipitData isn’t a place for coasting—it’s a launchpad for ambitious, impact-driven professionals. From day one, you’ll take the lead on meaningful work, accelerate your growth, and gain exposure that shapes careers.

Why Top Talent Chooses YipitData:
  • Ownership That Matters: You’ll lead high-impact projects with real business outcomes
  • Rapid Growth: We compress years of learning into months
  • Merit Over Titles: Trust and responsibility are earned through execution, not tenure
  • Velocity with Purpose: We move fast, support each other, and aim high—always with purpose and intention

If your ambition is matched by your work ethic—and you're hungry for a place where growth, impact, and ownership are the norm—YipitData might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

About Our Private Investor Business:

YipitData has an opportunity to revolutionize the private investor market by providing something that has never existed before – visibility into how any private company is really doing. While we’re early in this market, we expect it could be even larger than the other categories in which we operate, with tens of thousands of private investors, service providers, and other customers who care about private company performance and have no high fidelity solution today. We’ve built the first phase of the solution to this problem, based on data we’ve spent years aggregating; it’s called Signals, and it helps our customers see how any private company is performing, leveraging numerous proprietary spend datasets, with more data on the way. Signals helps early stage investors find breakout companies just as they’re starting to inflect, do early diligence on companies that already have scale to understand quality and durability of growth, and dive deep on entire categories and customer segments to see how the broader market is moving and how competition is evolving. We launched Signals coverage late last year with data on 250k+ AI and Software vendors, signed our first cohort of clients, and we’re quickly scaling both the platform and the org. The private investor org is a small and scrappy team operating inside a billion-dollar company, which means you get the best of both worlds: startup speed with enterprise resources. We ship fast, iterate constantly, and wear many hats. If you thrive in environments where you can see the direct impact of your work, move from idea to execution in days (not quarters), and want to help shape a product’s trajectory from the ground floor, this is the place for you.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Data Product Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join the Private Investor team and help us make our private company insights the most trusted in the market. As part of a small team building a product at a rapid pace, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of work—from evaluating new data sources and supporting customer-facing analyses to improving the accuracy of our data pipelines. You’ll initially work closely with senior data team members, building a deep understanding of our data, customers, and analytical approaches while contributing to well-scoped projects. As your expertise and confidence grow, you’ll take on greater ownership, tackle more complex data challenges, and operate with increasing autonomy. We’re looking for someone eager to deepen their analytical and technical skills, learn from experienced teammates, gain direct exposure to private-market investor clients, and grow in a fast-moving, collaborative, and high-accountability environment.

As a Data Product Associate You Will:
  • Ramp up quickly to become a core owner of our data methodologies, driving product success by delivering best-in‑class outputs with a focus on accuracy, client value, and efficiency
  • Solve complex data problems. Develop methodologies and business logic to transform, classify, enrich, normalize, and validate imperfect data
  • Design, maintain, and run QA processes to validate data across hundreds of thousands of vendors, proactively catching issues before they reach clients
  • Investigate data quality and accuracy issues. Dig into anomalies, outliers, inconsistencies, and unexpected patterns to understand their root causes and develop robust solutions
  • Help vet new data sources and design their incorporation into our pipelines and platform
  • Use AI and tooling to work smarter. Leverage AI for queries, investigations, debugging, tagging, and repetitive tasks while rigorously validating its outputs
You Are Likely To Succeed If:
  • You have 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, data operations, consulting, or a related field
  • You have 3+ years of experience working with SQL, Python, Pyspark, or other programming languages to explore and transform large, complex datasets, and you’re familiar with GitHub and Databricks
  • You are excited about building a product from the ground up, and thrive in ambiguity and fast‑paced environments where priorities shift
  • You have experience using sample or panel data to make precise estimates that guide decision‑making
  • You proactively experiment with AI tools to increase speed, depth, and efficiency of analysis, and to unlock new approaches to problem‑solving
  • You are scrappy and resourceful—you figure things out without waiting to be told what to do
  • You have excellent attention to detail and a natural instinct for spotting data anomalies
  • You communicate clearly and concisely—both in writing and verbally
What We Offer:
Our compensation package includes comprehensive benefits, perks, and a competitive salary:
  • We care about your personal life, and we mean it. We offer flexible work hours, flexible vacation, team events, wellness budget, and more!
  • Your growth at YipitData is determined by the impact that you are making, not by tenure, unnecessary facetime, or office politics. Everyone at YipitData is empowered to learn, self‑improve, and master their skills in an environment focused on ownership, respect, and trust. See more on our high‑impact, high‑opportunity work environment above!
  • The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks.
This role may be performed fully remotely. Candidates must have primary residency (and be physically located) in the country of hire (AKA Brazil/Colombia) in order to be considered for the position. If hired, the worker must maintain primary residency in the country of hire in order to be eligible for employment.

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
