BairesDev is hiring a Data Architect to shape how data is modeled and governed. You will design the data strategy using Medallion Architecture, work with stakeholders, and transform unstructured data into a trusted warehouse foundation.

You will model data, define governance taxonomy, and craft transformation logic so downstream teams can rely on high-quality data assets. This is a remote role spanning global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Services.
• Proven experience with data modeling from unstructured data.
• Deep knowledge of Medallion Architecture.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with taxonomy creation.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience with schema architecture and relational/dimensional modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

In this role, you'll investigate business needs directly with stakeholders to design, model, and define data strategy using a Medallion Architecture. Designing the governed data architecture, canonical taxonomy, and transformation logic for the data warehouse, you'll ensure downstream consumers can work with reliable, well-structured data assets.
