Freudenberg Group is seeking an experienced BI Analyst to design and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Power BI. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data-driven insights and build robust data models and ETL processes.
The role emphasizes governance, data quality, and training end users, with opportunities to contribute to Digital Transformation and Analytics initiatives. Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and SQL is required.
Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, management reports, and strategic KPIs using Power BI. Publish, monitor, and manage reports, workspaces, and datasets in Power BI Service, ensuring compliance with established access and governance policies. Gather business requirements from stakeholders to understand analytical needs and define performance indicators. Transform data from ERP, CRM, corporate databases, and other sources into meaningful information to support decision-making. Develop and maintain data models aligned with the organization's analytical needs, following best practices for performance and reliability. Develop SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and consolidation. Implement ETL/ELT processes to integrate and process data from multiple sources. Create metrics, KPIs, and advanced calculations using DAX and Power Query. Monitor data quality, integrity, and governance for corporate reports and dashboards. Partner with business areas to identify improvement opportunities through data analysis. Perform exploratory analyses and generate insights to support operational, tactical, and strategic decisions. Document processes, KPIs, business rules, and data models. Provide training and support to end users on dashboards and analytical tools. Participate in projects related to Digital Transformation, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Governance. Support data governance initiatives through the documentation of business rules, KPI definitions, data cataloging, and data quality standards. Contribute to the adoption and dissemination of BI development standards and best practices.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Production Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields.
Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification preferred.
Intermediate Spanish required; Intermediate English preferred.
Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query, dimensional data modeling, ETL processes, relational databases, KPI development, business requirements gathering, Power BI Service administration, advanced Excel, and Data Governance practices.
