Thorogood is seeking motivated students for an internship program based in our São Paulo office. The program lasts at least one year, helping you develop technical skills while collaborating with consulting teams on data-focused projects.

You'll gain exposure to data engineering, data science, and data visualization, while building business acumen, client interaction, and teamwork across a distributed global team. The role starts around January 2027, with travel and development opportunities.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.

About the Position

Overview

This position is for our internship program, designed to provide students with opportunities for development, strengthen their technical skills, and collaborate closely with our consultants. The program lasts for a minimum of one year and intends to support students as they grow into consulting roles.

Our team members are expected to have a strong interest in business. Understanding our clients’ organizations and industries is key to identifying areas of opportunity for us to help. Similarly, our people must have excellent listening, writing, and presenting skills, alongside the aptitude and motivation to master multiple data-focused technologies in a fast-moving field. This combination of business, people, and technical skills is essential.

Our Brazil and US entities are managed together under one Thorogood Americas in support of development of our business in the region. Further, we work with colleagues across the US, UK, India, Singapore, and Brazil, and with global customers, to provide effective solutions. The ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a distributed team is imperative.

Comprehensive training: During your first months at Thorogood, experienced consultants will introduce you to the technologies we work with, the industries we serve, and the ways in which we develop our business. • Help to grow our business: Interact with current and prospective clients, listen to their needs, and drive business development activities and discussions. Together, we’ll consider the business objectives in conjunction with the technical possibilities in order to understand the opportunities for their organizations.
• Deliver educationally focused marketing events: Prepare and present informational events for contacts at prospective and current clients.
• Develop our consultancy: Contribute to recruiting, training, and managing our people.

Location and Timing

This position is based in our São Paulo office. Our consultants are currently working in a hybrid model and are expected to work in São Paulo-SP, Brazil. The expected start date for this position is approximately January 2027, depending on candidate internship and course timing and general start date availability.

About You

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028. Please include in your cover letter your expectations in terms of work timing, particularly any commitments you may have with respect to classes/coursework.

Qualified candidates must have

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Portuguese
