Role Description

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Country Manager to lead and grow our business in Brazil, based in São Paulo.

This is a key strategic role combining sales leadership, business development, and operational excellence within the hospitality and tourism sectors. You will be responsible for expanding our client base, strengthening partnerships with hotel groups and travel brands, and leading a local team to deliver our world-class audit and risk management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy for Brazil, with a focus on new business acquisition and account expansion across hotels, resorts, and tourism operators.
  • Build and nurture relationships with hotel owners, operators, and corporate offices to identify opportunities and deliver tailored risk management solutions.
  • Take full ownership of the P&L, ensuring consistent, profitable, and sustainable growth.
  • Lead and inspire a team of auditors and coordinators to deliver high-quality service and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Oversee operational excellence and ensure adherence to Cristal and Intertek quality standards.
  • Be an Ambassador for Intertek Cristal at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to strengthen brand awareness and market positioning in Brazil.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven sales and business development background with strong results in growth and client retention.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Deep understanding of the hospitality, tourism, or travel sectors in Brazil.
  • Solid commercial and financial acumen, with hands‑on P&L ownership experience.
  • Strong relationship‑building, communication, and presentation skills; confident engaging with senior decision‑makers.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, results‑oriented approach.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
