Job Summary

Corporate Development – Financial Due Diligence Specialist plays a key role in Accenture’s inorganic growth strategies. The role supports strategy, creation, and innovation of personalized deliveries, with dedicated training and development. Note: For this position, it is necessary to attach your resume in English.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with North America, Europe & LATAM FDD teams, performing high quality diligence and analysis for acquisitions, joint ventures, and equity investments.
• Focus on analyzing the quality of target company earnings, operating metrics, debt and debt-like items and net working capital.
• Review, analyze, and prepare key financial documents from the virtual data room (data book, data pack).
• Perform key operating and financial analysis, attend target meetings, negotiation calls along with NA and Europe teams when time zone permits, and prepare initial NWC.
• Work closely with regional financial due diligence team to provide advice to the corporate development team related to key deal issues impacting the business case and/or integration.
• Provide continuity/transition to the post-merger integration and operational finance teams post-closing.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in professional services or consulting in a major accounting/financial firm.
• Prior financial due diligence experience is preferred.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong English skills written and verbal; advanced reading and writing comprehension skills.
• Intermediate verbal Spanish skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Supported multiple financial due diligence projects.
• CA/CPA/MBA/CFA (preferred).

Professional Skills

• Exceptional drive and energy with strong financial and analytical skills.
• Hands‑on experience with mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence.
• Project management skills.
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with merger and stock purchase agreements.
• Advanced financial analysis and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
