Job Purpose
Within the Subsea Installation department, you will report to the Installation and Construction Manager with the following overview:
Job Description
- Ensure the workload of the survey team is maintained and monitored throughout the years and project.
- Establish manning plan with the I&C manager to anticipate workload throughout the years.
- Assess the correct manning and expertise of the department in view of the workload.
- Act as technical authority and direct point of contact for queries related to Survey scope within the I&C department.
- Liaise closely with the Global Survey Manager in order to follow strategy established at Group level and share regional workload.
- Defining technical specifications for pre-engineering surveys (AUV, bathymetric, geophysical).
- Proposing and supporting cost-effective technologies and solutions.
- Specifying requirements for marine operations (positioning, navigation, metrology, dimensional control).
- Reviewing and assessing subcontractor technical proposals.
- Preparing procedures for positioning structures, pipelines, and umbilicals.
- Reporting progress and budget status to project/package managers.
- Participating in offshore operations, including mobilization and survey execution.
You are meant for this job if:
- Academic background in Oceanography, Topography, Geophysics, or related fields.
- Maintain state-of-the-art expertise in USV, metrology, and survey equipment
- Deliver innovative engineering solutions in complex environments.
- Fluent in English
