Position Mission

Do you have experience in Finance and want to join a global company that leads in technology and innovation ABB is looking for a Local Business Controller to join the Electrification (EL) division covering Brazil and this role you will play a strategic part in financial planning and performance ensuring compliance with local regulations supporting decision-making and contributing to ABBs sustainable growth in the region.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner supporting local leaders in defining and executing financial strategy.
• Lead planning budgeting and forecasting processes translating strategy into clear and measurable financial plans.
• Monitor project margins and review the FCM ensuring accuracy and transparency in reporting.
• Perform detailed analysis of cash flow working capital and cost structure proposing improvement actions.
• Ensure transparency and integrity in financial reporting in compliance with ABB standards and Brazil / Argentina regulations.
• Implement and reinforce internal financial and non-financial controls assessing risks and defining mitigation strategies.
• Prepare high-quality financial and management reports to support regional and global strategic decisions.
• Actively participate in commercial risk reviews and project reviews supporting leadership in critical decisions.

Your Background

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or Accounting.
• Previous experience in Controllership or Operational Finance roles.
• Proven experience in Finance and Financial Planning with solid Accounting knowledge.
• Advanced English and intermediate / advanced Spanish and Portuguese.
• Availability to travel.

• Previous experience with financial operations in Brazil and Argentina.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with data analytics tools.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
