Job Responsibilities:

• Review and audit resident qualification processes and recertifications for compliance with housing programs
• Audit property resident files to ensure adherence to housing program requirements and internal processes
• Prepare and submit timely audit reports based on property file reviews
• Assist in training site staff on compliance-related processes and procedures
• Ensure the accuracy of applicant waiting lists and timely submission of HAP payments

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in affordable housing compliance, focusing on Project Based Section 8 and Tax Credit
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for scheduling, with the ability to travel 60% or more of the workweek
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain processes and procedures clearly
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic math proficiency required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Affordable Housing Compliance Certification: LIHTC / HUD / HOME or Certified Occupancy Specialist
• Proficiency in property management software, preferably OneSite
• Proven ability to work independently while managing pressure and time-sensitive compliance processes
