Job Description
Key Responsibilities May Include:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Account Executives, fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction, retention, and growth through strategic account management and sales initiatives.
  • Develop and implement tailored business plans for key accounts, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and strategic alignment with CHEP’s broader goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance against key metrics, including revenue targets, customer retention, and satisfaction scores, taking proactive measures to ensure continuous improvement and success.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations, ensuring deep understanding of their business needs and driving value creation for both the customer and CHEP.
  • Oversee the management of contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and account renewals to ensure alignment with CHEP’s strategic and financial objectives.

Position Purpose

Lead and develop a high-performing business development team, driving strategic growth across new market sectors and increasing revenue through a customer-centric approach. Implement data-driven sales strategies to optimize pipelines, expand market penetration, and ensure sustainable profitability and long-term customer partnerships.

Major/Key Accountabilities
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets, ensuring continuous growth and development.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies focused on acquiring new business in high-potential sectors, ensuring alignment with corporate growth objectives.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to secure long-term partnerships and improve customer retention.
  • Manage and optimize sales funnels and pipelines, leveraging tools such as Salesforce for accurate forecasting and timely execution of sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to drive business growth and align on strategic objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, assess competitive dynamics, and uncover new business opportunities for expansion.
  • Lead the negotiation of high-value commercial proposals and contracts, ensuring alignment with profitability goals and company policies.
