Key responsibilities

Act in a consultative role for the IT Datacenter and Cloud Team, working directly with markets and technical counterparts to identify specific requirements and design custom solutions within the IT Service Offering Portfolio to meet functional requirements.

Drives platform innovation and exploit automation

Have a mindset of continuous innovation, continuous learning and improving

Drive upgrades, improvement initiatives and innovation proposals for the IT Platforms area

Coordinate the delivery of the designed and purchased solution to markets ensuring those meet Digital Asset Hosting standards and transition of the solution to sustain and operational teams

Support the markets in designing solutions from IT suppliers in a managed competition environment following latest technology trends, RFQ/RFP process in the best interest of the company

Defines Operational requirements and gaps for new and existing solutions.

Collaborate with project managements in the infrastructure area, and the suppliers as IT teams to eliminate root causes/escalations

Required Profile

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience

At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in architecture for large scale enterprise solutions, working with IT Operations, Infrastructure Architecture, or Cloud Computing required

At least 3 years of demonstrable experience with cloud architecture, specifically in Azure who can conceptualize ideas, evaluating options, presenting solutions, and implementing the selected approach

Experience in architecting Hosting infrastructure to include Enterprise Networking, Servers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, IP Connectivity and SAN Storage

Experience in Azure in terms of configuration, sizing, performance etc. Cloud certifications highly desirable

PaaS, Docker, Kubernetes and Serverless experience

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Solutions Specialist

with a strong technical background in cloud and DevOps practices, focused on the Latin American (LATAM) market. This role bridges technical expertise with client engagement—guiding customers to understand how Matilda Cloud’s offerings solve their challenges.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, highly skilled in customer engagement, and comfortable translating complex technology into clear business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate fluently in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, serving as the primary technical point of contact for LATAM clients.
• Work alongside the sales team to gather customer requirements and devise effective technical strategies that address the specific needs of the LATAM market.
• Partner with client IT and business teams to troubleshoot issues, remove roadblocks, and accelerate solution deployment.
• Engage with partners to provide comprehensive training and enablement on Matilda Cloud solutions.
• Collect customer feedback and relay insights to product and engineering teams to continuously improve offerings.
• Support developers in containerizing applications and migrating them to Kubernetes.
• Automate recurring tasks in container-based workflows into reusable CI/CD assets.
• Design, build, manage and operate the infrastructure and configuration of container platforms with a focus on automation and infrastructure-as-code.
• Ensure reliable WFH readiness with stable high-bandwidth internet.
• Travel across LATAM as needed for meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud, DevOps, or technical sales engineering in LATAM.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms.
• Hands‑on with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud).
• Expertise in Kubernetes, container platforms, and hybrid cloud operations.
• Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Helm, CI/CD pipelines).
• Exceptional communication and client‑facing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑changing environment.
• Availability for regional travel.
