Eightpoint está em busca de um Engenheiro de Operações em Nuvem para fornecer suporte operacional na infraestrutura multi-nuvem, incluindo AWS e GCP. O profissional será responsável pela manutenção da confiabilidade e suporte de pipelines CI/CD, além de gerenciar ferramentas de logging e monitoramento. É necessário ter pelo menos 5 anos de experiência em operações em nuvem e conhecimento profundo dos serviços AWS. A posição oferece um ambiente dinâmico e desafiador em Canoas, PB.

Qualificações

• 5+ anos de experiência em operações em nuvem, Dev Ops ou suporte de infraestrutura.
• Experiência em administrar cargas de trabalho containerizadas (Kubernetes/EKS, Docker).
• Experiência com ferramentas de logging, métricas e alertas.

Responsabilidades

• Administrar e suportar infraestrutura AWS, incluindo clusters EKS e EC2.
• Suportar cargas de trabalho GCP, principalmente Big Query.
• Participar do processo de resposta a incidentes e gerar documentação.

Sobre o cargo

The Cloud Operations Engineer will provide hands‑on operational support across Eightpoint's multi‑cloud infrastructure spanning AWS and GCP. This role focuses on maintaining reliability, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring observability across all environments while enabling the Dev Ops team to focus on project‑driven initiatives. The position reports to the Director of IT & Cybersecurity and works closely with the Dev Ops and Systems Administration teams.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and support AWS infrastructure including EKS clusters, Elastic Beanstalk environments, EC2, S3, Cloud Front, RDS, and IAM across a multi‑account environment.
• Support GCP workloads, primarily Big Query pipelines and related data infrastructure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot self‑hosted applications including Airflow, Grafana, and other internal tooling.
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, including self‑hosted runners.
• Participate in incident response processes—triage, root cause analysis, remediation, and post‑incident documentation.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting tooling (Grafana stack—Loki, Tempo, Mimir, Alloy; Cloud Watch; One Uptime).
• Manage infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Participate in on‑call rotation providing support across US and offshore time zones.
• Contribute to documentation in Confluence and maintain runbooks for operational procedures.

Experiência necessária

• 5+ years of experience in a cloud operations, Dev Ops, or infrastructure support role.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS core services (EKS, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Cloud Front).
• Hands‑on experience administering containerized workloads (Kubernetes/EKS, Docker).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
• Demonstrated experience with incident response workflows—detection, escalation, remediation, and RCA.
• Experience deploying and maintaining observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting).
• Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python).
• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Experience with Atlassian tooling (Jira, JSM, Confluence).

Qualificações preferenciais

• Experience with GCP, specifically Big Query and related data services.
• Experience with Grafana OSS stack (Loki, Tempo, Mimir, Alloy/Faro).
• Experience supporting Airflow or similar orchestration platforms.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate, Sys Ops, or Dev Ops Engineer).
• Experience working in multi‑account AWS environments with consolidated billing/cost allocation tagging.
• Exposure to ZTNA/VPN solutions (Firezone, Twingate, or similar).
