A leading multinational company seeks a Marketing Manager to spearhead business development in Brazil across various mining commodities. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in science or engineering, along with a strong network within the industry. Successful applicants will demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and fluency in English, as their role will involve international coordination and strategy development. This permanent position necessitates proactive engagement in fostering client relationships and executing marketing strategies.

Type of Requisition: Permanent employee –Reporting toCountry Manager – Brazil
Primary Responsibilities
1. Generating new business in Brazil across commodity segments of Iron Ore, Manganese Ore, Coal/Coke, Fertilizers
2. Generating repeat orders from existing clients
Specific responsibilities
– Generate business for Brazil
– Generate business for other countries
– Ensure payment collections
– Identify and develop new customers
– Assist in retention of existing customers
– Coordinate with Country Manager and Business Group in HQ, India regarding pricing, credit policy, service deliverables
and contracting with customers
– Explore hard and soft needs of customers
– Preparation of all MIS ( management information system)related to Marketing and Sales
– Provide inputs to Country Manager and Business Groups in HQ, India on marketing strategy and expansion of business
– Any other work entrusted by the management
Profile
– Technical Skills and Characteristics:
o Must come from Science background
o Engineering degree is desirable
o Knowledge of technical service sales to the mining industry
o Strong network connections with the major players in the industry

o Strong leader with entrepreneurial skills and hands-on spirit to be able to leverage MSK’s operations in Brazil
o Peoples’ person to be able to develop and prospect relationships within the industry
o Tenacity to endure frustrations that prospecting sales can bring
