The Vice President (VP), ETF Distribution, will be responsible for driving the growth and adoption of J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) among institutional and intermediary clients in Brazil and Chile. The role requires a deep understanding of the ETF market, strong client relationship management skills, and the ability to deliver tailored investment solutions in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Coverage & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, private banks, wealth managers, and other key clients in Brazil and Southern Cone working jointly with the JPMAM local teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ETF-related inquiries, product education, and portfolio solutions for the JPMAM local team
- Sales & Distribution
- Drive ETF sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding market share.
- Execute strategic distribution plans in alignment with regional and global objectives.
- Organize and participate in client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
- Product Expertise & Education
- Provide clients and local teams with in-depth product knowledge, market insights, and thought leadership on ETFs.
- Deliver training and educational sessions to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity in the ETF space.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and investment teams to develop and refine ETF offerings for the LatAm market.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Track sales activity, client engagement, and market penetration; prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Analyze client portfolios and recommend ETF solutions to meet investment objectives.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in asset management, ETF distribution, or related financial services roles.
- Proven track record in sales and client relationship management, ideally within Brazil and/or Chile.
- Deep understanding of ETFs, capital markets, and investment products.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish; English proficiency required.
- Ability to travel within Brazil and Chile as needed.
