Overview

We are seeking a Senior Unified Communications Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise voice and telephony, who can lead and support the transition from Cisco on-premises UC environments to Microsoft Teams Phone and modern CCaaS platforms. This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on design, migration, and Tier 3 support, working in a global enterprise environment across EMEA, US, and APAC.

Required
  • 7+ years of experience in Unified Communications / Enterprise Voice.
  • Strong hands-on experience with :
  • Microsoft Teams Phone
  • Cisco Voice (CUCM, SIP)
  • Solid understanding of telephony fundamentals and SIP-based architectures.
  • Experience supporting or implementing cloud-based telephony solutions.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Oracle SBC, Avaya, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to Contact Center solutions (Cisco UCCE, Five9, NICE CXone).
  • Experience working in large enterprise or global environments.
What You'll Do
  • Microsoft Teams Phone & Cloud Telephony: Design, implement, and support Microsoft Teams Phone solutions. Lead and support Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and Calling Plans. Integrate Teams Phone with SBCs and telecom providers.
  • Enterprise Voice & Cisco UC: Support and maintain Cisco on-premises voice infrastructure, including Cisco Call Manager (CUCM). Provide Tier 3 / engineering-level support for complex voice issues.
  • Contact Center & CCaaS: Support migrations of Contact Center platforms: From Cisco UCCE / Five9 To NICE CXone CCaaS. Ensure stable SIP connectivity between telephony and CCaaS platforms. Execute telephony migration plans with minimal service disruption. Support global go-live events and post-migration stabilization. Collaborate with regional engineering teams and vendors worldwide.
